Gen 2 Muha vs Gen 1 and Gen 3: What Changed and How to Tell
Short answer: A gen 2 muha carries a scratch-off code. Third-gen Muha Meds packs scan in the Muha Members app.
So far, the verification method is the only confirmed difference between a gen 2 muha and a newer pack.
Below, we explain each label, flag what nobody has documented, and show you how to identify your own box.
For the full app walkthrough, read our Muha Meds Gen 3 deep dive. This post covers the older labels.
Heads-up: muhamedshub.com is an independent hub and store. We are not the brand, and we don’t speak for it.
What “Gen” Means on a Muha Box
The brand’s verification page sorts products into two groups.
First, second-generation packs carry a scratch-off code. You then type that code into the same page.
Next, third-generation packs skip the sticker. Instead, you scan the product code in the Muha Members app.
That’s all the page says. It doesn’t mention new hardware, new oil or new sizes for either group.
Meanwhile, some Michigan dispensary menus label certain 2g disposables “3rd Gen.” So the term also turns up in product names.
In short, “generation” describes how you authenticate a pack. It isn’t a published hardware version number.
Gen 2 Muha: The Scratch-Off Generation
Searches for muha gen 2 usually come from people holding a box with a scratch-off panel on the back.
That panel hides a printed code. Once you scratch it off, you type the code into the brand’s website.
How to verify a 2nd gen muha
- Find the scratch-off label on the back of the box.
- Scratch gently with a coin so you don’t damage the characters.
- Go to muhameds.com/verification and type the code carefully.
- Read the result, then screenshot it with the date.
- Finally, check the state compliance label and batch details too.
Do this before your first pull. That way, you can still return a failed pack to the store.
However, a passing code isn’t the whole story. Blank stickers and empty boxes circulate online.
So inspect the sticker itself. Bubbles, peeled edges or a second sticker underneath all suggest tampering.

Gen 1 Muha: What We Could and Couldn’t Confirm
Plenty of shoppers search for gen 1 muha. Yet we found no brand description of a first generation.
The verification page covers only second- and third-generation packs. Also, the dispensary listings we checked never defined Gen 1.
So we won’t guess what a muha gen 1 box looked like.
Treat any Gen 1 spec list online with caution, especially from sellers.
What if your box has no code at all?
A box with neither a scratch-off panel nor an app code needs extra care.
It could be old stock, or it could be fake.
First, ask the store where it came from. Then check the state label for a batch number and licensee name.
In Michigan, for example, Metrc package tags start with “1A405.” Our tag number explainer shows what that code means.
Still unsure? Then contact the brand before you use it. Licensed dispensaries remain the safest place to buy.
3rd Gen Muha and “Muha V3”: What’s Confirmed
A 3rd gen muha uses app verification. You install the free Muha Members app, then scan the pack.
After a valid scan, the app adds rewards points. Plus, a 2026 app update added in-app counterfeit reporting.
Michigan menus also use “3rd Gen” in some 2g disposable names. However, those listings don’t publish a spec sheet.
What does muha v3 mean?
We couldn’t confirm it. No brand page, press release or dispensary listing we checked used “V3.”
It may be shorthand for third gen. Still, that’s a guess, so we don’t treat it as a product name.
Similarly, we found no documented hardware changes between generations. That includes size, screen, button and capacity.
For app steps, rewards and scanner fixes, see our third-gen guide. It goes much deeper.

How to Tell Which Generation You Have
You don’t need a spec sheet to identify your pack. Instead, just read the box before you open it.
- Flip the box over. A scratch-off panel means it’s a second-gen pack.
- Next, look for a scannable product code and a mention of the app. That points to third gen.
- If you see neither, stop and ask the store about the product’s origin.
- Then check the state label for a batch number, licensee and package tag.
- Finally, verify with the matching method before your first pull.
Which generation you get depends on store stock. As a result, both styles may sit on the same shelf.
Does the Generation Change Potency or Flavor?
Not that anyone has documented. Instead, the oil line and the batch drive potency and flavor.
For example, Melted Diamonds disposables tested 82.0 to 85.1% total THC in our spring 2026 lab report set.
Meanwhile, Distillate disposables tested 73.9 to 79.5%. Both ranges come from pH Solutions, LLC reports.
Still, potency varies by batch. So always check the COA that matches your own box.
Our lab results guide explains how to read one. Also, our device guide compares every vape format.

Muha Generations FAQ
What is a gen 2 muha?
It’s a second-generation pack with a scratch-off code. You enter that code at muhameds.com/verification.
What was the first generation?
We couldn’t find a brand definition. The brand’s verification page covers only second- and third-generation packs.
What does V3 mean on a Muha?
We couldn’t confirm it. It may be shorthand for third gen, but no brand or menu source uses it.
Is a third-gen pack stronger than a second-gen pack?
No source says so. Potency depends on the oil line and batch, so check the COA for your box.
Did the hardware change between generations?
We found no documented change in size, screen, button or capacity. As far as we know, only verification changed.
Can a fake pack pass verification?
Copied codes and blank stickers do circulate. So buy from licensed stores and inspect the packaging too.
For adults 21+ only. Use responsibly: never drive after use, and keep cannabis away from kids and pets.
